Payroll Cost Centers

Cost Centers are groups you use to filter employees when writing checks and running payroll reports. This page lists your existing cost centers and lets you add, edit, or delete them.

Open it from {menu:cost-centers|bx4uNPoWvZ}.

Adding a Cost Center

Click Add to open the new cost center form, type a Cost Center Description, and save it. The new cost center then appears in the list.

Editing or Deleting a Cost Center

Pick a cost center from the Cost Center dropdown and click Edit to open it.

Edit Payroll Cost Center

On the edit form, change the Cost Center Description and click Save, or click Delete to remove the cost center. Once defined, cost centers appear as a filter on payroll check-writing and reporting screens.
