Salary
When logging time for salaried workers (Payroll -> Process Payroll -> Log Hours), the system will automatically calculate and display a Rate based on the salary amount per period divided by the hours worked (standard work hours in period if hours not specifically entered).
If a salaried worker can earn overtime, you can enter in overtime hours, and the rate will be used to calculate the overtime pay.
For salaried workers you are not required to enter in the number of hours worked.
You can enter in vacation and sick hours used for salaried workers without entering in amounts for those time entries.
