URL Shortcuts
The URL Shortcuts option under Tools -> System provides a way for you to create shortened URLs for long links.
For example, if you have a link like https://mycompanywebsite.com/sales/promotions/b/7468768/676827634, you can create a URL Shortcut and be given a new URL like https://n-p.app/denola-VDz843. When users go to your shortened link, they will be redirected to the full URL.
You can also download a QR code for your shortened link by clicking the PNG or SVG links in the QR Code column of the URL Shortcut list.
One helpful thing URL Shortcuts provides is that you can always modify the underlying full URL, if you ever need to point the shortcut to a new end address. For example, if you create a URL Shortcut and print 800 copies of a QR code for the shortcut link, but then discover there is a mistake with the full URL, you can always edit the URL Shortcut and update the full URL. The URL Shortcut won't change, so your printed QR codes will still work, but they will now redirect to the correct address.
The URL Shortcuts system is also used internally for links to Forms (Tools -> Forms -> Form Manager). Instead of using the full, long link for forms, the system will automatically give you a shortened URL to use. You can drop in where you'd like the form link to appear in form emails by placing the text {formlink} where the link should go.
