Can a Company Division/Location Pull Inventory From the Main Company?

Companies in NolaPro have separate inventory, and so for orders and invoices it's not possible to pull inventory directly from a separate company within your NolaPro installation. You can pull from different locations (Admin -> Inventory -> Inventory Location) within the same company though.

If you would like to transfer inventory from one company to another, you can accomplish this by using the Intercompany Item Transfers add-on. When this add-on is active, you'll have the menu tab Inventory -> Transfers. You can start a transfer by clicking the Intercompany Item Transfers button under the Inventory -> Transfers tab.

If you receive a warning message about companies needing to have a Default Intercompany Transfer Offset Account set, you can switch to each company listed and go to Admin -> Inventory -> General Setup -> General Ledger. Select an account for Default Intercompany Transfer Offset Account. For transfer GL entries this account will be used as the offset to the inventory account when items are moved out or brought in.

If you'd like to manage your inventory with use of a distribution center, you can activate the Distribution Center Reordering add-on available in the Corporate version. With this add-on you coordinate stock replenishment through a distribution center out to branches.
