Transfer Items Between Warehouses/Locations

You can transfer items between locations by going to Inventory -> Transfers, when the Intercompany Item Transfers add-on is active, or Inventory -> Items -> Item Transfers when the add-on is not active. 

When the Intercompany Item Transfers add-on is active, you will have some additional options for managing transfers like the ability to print pick tickets with separate ship and receive steps.

Review Admin -> Inventory -> General Setup for transfer settings you may want to modify including Allow Received Transfers To Be Reopened, Block Transfers For Inventory Types, Intercompany Item Transfers - Posting, Send Transfer Notices To Entry User.

You can review item transfer activity by visiting Inventory -> Reports -> Item Transfer Report (transfers made without the Intercompany Item Transfers add-on), Transfer Details (with Intercompany Item Transfers add-on), Transfer Fill Rate Analysis (with Intercompany Item Transfers add-on).
