Inventory Export/Import Edit Tool

The Tools -> Export -> Inventory Export/Import Edit Tool allows you to export inventory items in a CSV file, make modifications in a spreadsheet program, and import the changed items. Be sure to preserve the top two rows of your export file when importing. These top header rows let the system know which fields it should update and which items the changes should apply to. No items are deleted or added with the Export/Import Edit Tool. The tool is only for editing existing items.

Shopify: If the Shopify integration is set up for the company, an Update Shopify Products box appears on the import form (checked by default; NolaPro remembers your last choice). With it checked, NolaPro sends the imported items up to Shopify after the import finishes, so changes such as prices, descriptions, weights and dimensions appear in your store without a separate sync.

• Only items already linked to a Shopify product are sent. The import never creates new Shopify products; unlinked items are reported as Items Not Linked To Shopify, Skipped.
• Items flagged Item Ships By Itself (digital or non-shipping items) are not sent and are reported as Digital Items Not Sent To Shopify.
• Items are only sent when Automatically Sync Items is turned on in your Shopify setup. If it is off, a warning appears under the box and nothing is sent.
• The results screen shows the number of updates sent to Shopify, plus any skipped or failed items.
