Salesman vs. Sales Rep

Solution Some sales organizations have multiple levels of sales persons who contact the customer.

Generally speaking the salesman is the person who actually makes the sales and goes to the customer site, whereas the sales rep is usually an inside contact for the same customer.

You can run reports by salesman but not by sales rep.
