Make Customer Inactive

Solution This is not available, and would require a customization. However there is a work around if you are NOT using the "Promotions" when adding a customer (we will replace it with active/inactive).

To do this go to Tools -> Language Editor. Insert "Promotions" and click 'Get Definitions'. You should see 4 "Internal Phrase" line items.

Change:

"IF PROMOTIONS OK" to "Active Customer"

"ONLY SHOW CUSTOMERS WHO APPROVE OF PROMOTIONS" to "Only Show Active Customers"

"PROMOTIONS OK" to "Active Customers"

"PROMOTIONS OK FILTER" to "Active Customers Filter"

Save your changes.

Going forward when creating or editing a customer in Contacts -> Customers you will see "Active Customers" INSTEAD of "Promotions OK".

Then when you access Reports -> Contacts -> Customer List check the box "Active Customers - Only Show Active Customers".

(You will need to edit all of your existing customers to update if they are active or inactive)
