Multiple Checking Accounts

You can have multiple bank accounts in NolaPro, and you can designate which accounts are for AR, AP, or Payroll purposes.

Add and edit accounts by going to Admin -> Ledger -> Bank Accounts.

You can mark accounts you no longer maintain as inactive by checking the Inactive box.

Bank accounts don't always need to correspond with a real account you maintain at a financial institution. Many users like to create a bank account for Checks In Transit, or similar, and then record incoming check payments to this account. They can then create a bank deposit (Income -> Bank Deposits) and move the check amounts from the Checks In Transit bank account to a real bank account.
